- First of all you could always buy the 2Mb version and add an additional 2 Mb
- afterwards, since 2 of the 4 Mb are socketed.

- The only advantage of the extra memory is that you can open larger screens.
- You can easily compute how much memory you need for a specific mode:
- height*width*depth/8=number of bytes you need for a screen.
- For example 1024*768*24/8= (approx) 2.2Mb . As you can see you can't do
- 1024*768 in true color if you just got the 2Mb version.
- If you do only 8bit screenmodes there's not much to worry about. 1600*1200
- will fit in 2 Mb.
